TGIF.
Yea, so my last post was pretty intense. I have screenshots of this drama with this ex-friend of mine. And yea, I guess I might have caused a little bit of drama, but really, if some things are just meant for your boyfriend’s eye’s only, why would you post it online, in a public place for everyone to see? So she shouldn’t have gotten all butthurt that I said something about her posts. Plus, her stupid posts were on MY Facebook comments anyway, so naturally, I was involved in the conversation. Anyway, I have those screenshots just in case she really wants to start anything else. I really shut her up after that stupid Facebook argument.
Anyway. Today, I woke up to feed the Lil Miss breakfast. Oatmeal has been her favorite lately. Then around 10AM, it hit me that I was totally LATE for my 9:50am eye check up! GR! Lil Miss and I rushed to get out of the house, and when we got there, they couldn’t take me in for the full examination. I was slightly disappointed, but since it was my fault that I was late, I knew I couldn’t do much. I politely asked if I can just reschedule my appointment, and thankfully, the lady was so nice about and said, “Sure!” Then as I was waiting to reschedule, the same lady/receptionist told me that my eye doctor can take me in for a contact examination, but not the full one. Which was completely fine with me. The eye doctor’s office is usually extremely busy so I was grateful that my doctor could see me for a while.
They did the routine check-up, but since we weren’t getting any solid results (I guess my vision is just retarded. LOL), the doctor said to come back in so we can try again. Fine with me, I had no plans for the rest of the day anyway, so I wasn’t at all mad or anything. I went out and rescheduled the entire appointment (both contact and full eye exams) for July 27 at 10:30am. Let’s just hope I don’t run late and forget about this one! *crosses fingers*
So yea. That was the eye doctor. The Lil Miss and I have been home for about an hour and a half. Oh, right when we got home, she got into a time-out. She was arguing with me about her quiet time that would be later in the day. And she is not supposed to be arguing with me. The moment I opened the door, she was put into the corner to think about what she did!
After her time-out, I fed her lunch, which was just scrambled eggs and rice. Boy, did she really love scrambled eggs and rice! She asked for seconds, and when she was done with that, she asked for thirds! When she asked for thirds, I had to make a new batch of scrambled eggs and rice! That crazy little girl; I’ve never seen her eat so much before. But I’m glad that she liked it.
Right now, we’re in quiet time. Now quiet time is just an hour of being in her room; she can either watch tv or take a nap. After an hour, if she isn’t sleeping, then she is allowed out of her room. I think right now she is watching HIgh School Musical. She can watch that movie over and over and over and OVER. I’m surprised she hasn’t gotten annoyed of all the singing and dancing. LOL She watches it every night before she goes to bed. And she watches it during quiet time. lol
After her quiet time, if she’s still awake that is, we’re going to go deposit my lovely paycheck at Bank of America, then stop by Walmart to pick up a life vest and some sun block for Lil Miss. When we’re all done at Walmart, we’re going to head to my grandparents’ house to go swimming! This will also be like a playdate for Lil Miss; she loves to play with my cousins when she’s over. I think The Mister is going to come by also and wash his car. He can’t wash it at his place or my place, since we both live in townhouse-like homes and we don’t have our own personal hoses. So yea, he’ll be washing his car at my grandparents’ place. (He is showing his car at a car show tomorrow, so he always does this car cleaning/wash thing the day before a show!)
The rest of the day should just be kickback. Right now, there’s about 20 minutes left of quiet time, so I’m going to take a short nap, and then get ready to do some shopping and swimming! [=
